Reveal - Our Library Cum Reading Nook

Now... it is time to reveal our library make over!! hihi.. I've been so bz lately, especially Farissa being unwell and all.. However, to divert my attention to something more refreshing, I decided to redo my library and create a cute living nook for my darling girl following these ideas.. :)

The initial room... with the blackboard at the corner of the room.. no theme...

Bakul merah tuh is my laundry utk digosok..

Computers on the floor... My little brother took my PC table to his university..

Books, books and more books on the floor...

I had given my shelf to the CryBox Community..:)

TARAAAAAA!! The reveal... :)

80% of the items here are bought from ikea....

I decided to keep my research papers, stationery, Farissa's creative tools here..

It's easily reachable, see through and neatly arranged..

You can get the black and white boxes for RM 35 - 2 pieces and the 3 drawers shelves for RM 45 each..

Books are kept on the wall shelves...

A small reading nook at the corner...

I had use the small sofa that I bought from fella warehouse sale, and cover it with 1.5 metres of fabric from ikea RM 25.90..

Throw some pillows bought from house harmony RM 9.90 each..

Drill in some frame shelves and instead by placing frames, I had place front facing books (kids reachable of course!!)...

and lastly the computers which are now placed on top of a small table RM 95 and place near a piece of chair RM 47...

Reading Nook for Kids!

Its been 2 weeks of planning and designing a functional office, a library plus a comfy ready nook for Farissa. Yippie!! I am so excited for this new distraction :)... I think its fun to find small2 projects to do around the house.. Improvements are always better to do one at a time.. Lgpun rabak la poket kalo buat semua sekali gus... These are just some of the photos to iron out amazing ideas from my creative head... hehehe...

If I do have this kind of space kan best... tp we have to work with what we have (a room without windows) and limited space.. I like the white concept of the room with all the pastels colours surrounds it.. I don't think Farissa will be getting the table and chairs though... tarak space...

Hey ladies!! Wat’s up? Well, here are the pics of my kitchen!! Yup.. finally I know...
Actually, I had planned to upload my pics last month but as u girls know, I am on a long leave and was recuperating in my mom’s home in JB. Why? See here. When I came back to KL, I decided to re-design the kitchen and improve the previous layout. I believe know one (even my mom) saw this version of my kitchen yet.

Let’s take a tour in my small but charming kitchen. As you can see, I have an open concept kitchen. You can see my kitchen when u first enters the house. Some people may not like this concept (need constant cleaning and organizing). My dry kitchen and laundry station are within the same area. I have an entertainment station (mainly it is my radio, I love listen to music while I cook). A small peninsular, perfect for putting up buffet. This breakfast peninsular works as a divider between the dining and the kitchen. We don’t have breakfast here, as we need stools for that. Everyone eats in the dining area.

The laundry station is a new addition. The white wall cabinet can be purchase from IKEA, a total cost of RM 285.
I love flowers, especially those from SSF. So the tulips were purchased from SSF for RM 40. You can also purchase a wide variety of canvas painting. This one cost only RM 20, purchased from ROMANTIKA, Malacca during one of my vacation there.

Frames could easily use to upgrade or to fill up empty walls but not necessarily burst your pockets. These frames were purchase for only RM 3.90 each from D.I.Y shop. My plan was to insert recent photos of my lil one so each time when I am doing the laundry; I could look at her and remember my life blessings.

Some of u may even wonder what has come of my fridge from previous entry. Well, here it is!!
Looking nice beside my little oven. Above the combination oven is a device with 3 small fans, to cool of the oven should I plan to bake with it. Circulation of air is important so that the oven does not burn down the cabinet.

Let’s move to the wet kitchen. The blue tiles move throughout the whole kitchen. I just love them as it is really sparkly. Hihi.
I have always wanted a standalone stove, so here it is. Mr. Bob had upgraded the stove to Electrolux (which I am not sure how much the total cost). Previous stove was Rubine, you can read here. It comes with a glass top so that you can protect your tiles with the grease or sambal tumis. ;)
The plate above the hood was purchased in Kenya, Africa, during one of my teaching assignment there. Beside the stove is the stainless steel divider between the fridge and hot stove

The gas is covered in the cabinet.
You can purchase this small rug at IKEA for RM 35.90 and the uniquely design cloth at SSF.

Here is the sink in action!! Wuuhuuu!! However, I would not recommend you to buy a white sink (especially for asian cooks). Rosaaaaak!!! Hehehe.. No lah.. but you really need to constantly clean it. Having Mr. Muscle really helps me.. ;)

Oh yes. Lastly, this small but useful island. I have future plan to place a bigger island with stools. Definitely will update, all of you ladies later.

My Bedroom My Sanctuary~~

The master bedroom is the most intimate rooms in a home... for me it is the outmost importance that the master bedroom outshines any other bedrooms (within a home).. it must have the most comfortable sheets, comforters, pillows.... it should have additional furniture that’ll give boost to the coziness of the room itself.

My opinion is that stick to what you like, if you think half of anything – do not place it in the master bedroom. I try my best not to stick television or work station in the master because these elements are NOT meant to be in a room where you rest, sleep and snuggle up with your partners. These things are distraction, however, that is just my opinion. My parents have both a workstation and a 40 inch LCD and they seem to love it so what the heck?

New books that are always within reach... I LOVE english non-fiction collection :)

Especially those that Oprah book club suggested / discussed!

In terms of clutter, I think it is best to have closed up storage. You can be messy but hidden messy. :D I also believe that you should have individual aspects within a room to give it spice. Add in a mirror, portrait, family photos or flowers (better to have fresh flowers rather then artificial)..

I love colours, it gives a certain ummph. I love pattern as well, so as you can see the curtains, lamp shades, comforters and cushions are pattern. But I am also aware that too much of these is a NO NO! I make sure that if the comforters are printed then the sheets are not and the pillow cases are not. If the cushions are printed then the seater/sofa are not. You get my point right?

So, that’s it... A slice of my thought.... If you would like to add anything or place comments, you are absolutely welcome to do so...

Pregnant???

It's such a long story. But to cut short, its NOT good news.

I am diagnose with ectopic pregnancy (mengandung luar rahim) last week. I had abnormal bleeding for a bout a week with severe upper abdominal pain for about a week also.. huhu..

Somehow, biler doctor check.. I am pregnant but baby cannot be seen through ultra sound. Which means there is no baby in the womb.. huhu..

Fyi, I am still pregnant (about 7 weeks).. tp hati terasa sgt berat bcoz I had to undergo surgery next week to remove the pregnancy... Ape2 pun.. I take this as one of my dugaan from GOD and I will hope to have a speedy recovery, insyallah another baby in the future... :D

My DIY - His Weekend

Hello darls...

Tajuk entry ni hebat bukan.. Well... what can I say... hehehe... Anyway, I had been dreaming for this DIY for weeks... yelah.. any DIY will need some sort of $$$.. hihi.. So, apparently JUSCO is having one of their monthly sales and I successfully found frames which is cheap and quality enuf to stuck on my the new flight of staircase wall <-- aik betul ke ni.. hahaha...

small frames cost me about rm 5.. and da big ones 8R cost about rm 20.. da total??? rm 105.. Well I thought it was ok!! :D

So, here goes.. Months ago I came across this helpful website: http://www.younghouselove.com/ and I was really intrigue with all the DIY projects that they are doing.. and one of it is this wall of frames..

Reveal - Living Room

Salam Ladies..

I believe that it’s about time that I reveal my hard earn vision and dream of a home sweet home – living room.. Truly 2x, I am quite excited about this reveal as I did not have the time to actually write bout it before... Close friends mmg for sure dah tau that I really put in a lot of thought and planning this new home of mine... betul tak kengkawan?

So, without further a do... Tadaaaaaa!! Shantik taaaak?? Hihi... aaaaaah kalo tak cantik pun tape... yg penting I feel truly good bout it... for my living, tade satu pun I rase pilihan I salah... semua on da dot!! :)

Let’s start of with da sofa... this good deal of a sofa I did purchase for quite a number of months before I move... haha.. tu yang rumah sewa lama sempit semacam... Anyways, this is a good choice because:

It’s branded though cheap sebab beli time clearance.
The sofa covers can be machine wash... wow factor rite?? Especially those moms yg tgk jeks terus kate... ni tak lame ni kotor la.....
Excellent time to pre train your kids that sofa is no place to have their dinner on (yeah rite...).. kadang2 bapak budak lg teruk.. hik hik...

Awww... Kids that come to my house really love this cute little tods sofa.. This one I purchase time fella design warehouse sale as well.. truly good bargain as it is so solid.. kadang2 I yg duduk kat sini.. tegap tau...

Just look at this baby design... :D swirly and flowery... huuuhh... so me!! Well, if you think that this is waste of money.. simply don’t by it.. betul tak??.. don’t judge me though baby.. A plus point.. it can be use as leg rest too.. hihihi...

First time I saw this ottoman.. terus I beli.. sebab my curtain is stripe pattern as well and this could go well together... the price as usual murah sebab I beli time clearance.. yeah blame me as a clearance maniac but when I shop, I do it with bargains in mind and pocket.. ;)

Anyway, I read somewhere that if you want a country design inspired home then you should have an ottoman instead of a coffee table... So, I got one!! But nobody put their coffee on this yeah.... ßadik if you reading this.. paham 2x.. ehem ehem...

Move on!! The beautiful “Datin Carpet” as a good friend of mine referred it as to... haha!! Believe me.. the price is right on.. If you guys look closely.. this is gold thread embroidered.. It was hanged really gorgeously at Macy’s... and 20% of... So, I thought what da heck.. masuk jeks dlm troly...

Hey guys... please do NOT think that I beli semua ni serentak... My style, I purchase bit by bit.. with colour theme ALWAYS in mind... duit I simpan sket2 setiap bulan... I beli setahun sebelum I pindah masuk rumah... tak percaya?? Percayalah~~~

Huh.... What is this?? Well, this is the ONLY item that I did not choose for the living room.. Mr. Bob chose this unique copper curtain hook.. Pandainye dia... I don’t actually love it at first sight.. but I think that it really does grow on me... Looks country meets rustic rite... Gorge baby!!!

Close-up of the day curtain... Some of you may think that its heavily embroidered.. It is... and I kind liked heavy flowery stuff... its just me k... the more flowers the better... haha.. bukan semua pattern ya.. J This one has to be hand washed ONLY.. huhu... saje jeks nk menyusahkan diri.. but now ada dobi.. so kalo malas.. hantarla dobi saje.. ya tak??

I told the girls at the office that Bob thinks my “chandy” is a junk that nobody wants... Somehow, I feel really happy just looking at it... Its just too plain beautiful.. Look at the color, it really have a greenish almost whitish frame with black almost classic old look... The glass is icy which makes it more classy.. haha... This baby only cost me bout RM300.....

So, there it is ladies.. An angle towards the entrance of the house... I will definitely talk bout that later on... insyallah... “The Entryway”, not yet 100% complete...

This shot is an overall look at the living... All into place.. Although, there are 2 wish list items to buy for the living room:

Purchase a Smart Looking remote control fan (Yes, in exchange of the chandelier.. I have to sacrifice my ceiling fan), black...
Buy a matching TV cabinet as the Shoe Cabinet at the entryway...

Ini lah one of my childhood dreams.. :D ada bilik sendiri warna pink!!! hihihi... so, since dah ada rumah sendiri boleh la khaskan satu bilik for my little girl..

Update bilik2 yg lain nanti ar... kene la kemas2 dulu.. hahaha... sabo ya~~ ;)

ni dia katil farissa.. i mmg suke design katil camni.. lompat camne pun takkan patah.. kepala pun takkan terhantuk (divan style.. shocking pink).. very the comfy as well..

the comforter is fairy themed... styled by Aussino... very cooling and nice..

my artwork tu cam tak sesuai la plak... tape nanti i akan tukar kepada farissa portrait kot.. pink wardrobe to match the pink bed...

night lamp... utk temankan Farissa tido mlm... with the princess theme photo frame on the side..

remember that I pernah mentioned about my mistake in design... yups.. its the curtain.. all wrong for this bedroom..

Her Goodies Bag, a Stroke of Genius!!

I almost forgot that it was Farissa's school April's birthdays event.. well, all kids who celebrated their birthday in April got to celebrate at school.. yippie!!

so, mlm khamis we trotted along jusco to find the perfect goodies (without poking out of mama's wallet).. hehe.. nak claim kat papa, papa laks tade.. auntie nora from the mama's office suggested something simple for the bags.. so, mama just upgrade sket jeks from the idea..

we purchase some disney's serviettes (tissue) "princess and playhouse disney" and poke them inside sandwiches plastic bags.. and walla!! cheap but gorgeous goodie bags.. ha ha... ooh.. by the way.. we needed to pack for 60 kids!! that's a huge task ok...

My New Home Pre Reveal

Hi semua... hari Isnin yg indah.. hehehe..

Actually, hari ni rase happy sgt sebab kebykkan hal2 rumah semakin hampir 100% setel.. segala penat lelah mendesign dan plan utk rumah ni~~ alhamdullilah mmg nmpk effect yg dikehendaki hati ini... I just love it!!! <-- senang cite

So~~ tanpa melembap2 pre-reveal ni... meh sini i cite sket ape yg telah diselesaikan pada hujung minggu ni... yahooo!!!

ok.. perkara pertama.. take off the silly banner on top of the house.. to tell you as a matter factly.. I will not take this contractor ever again... huhu.. panjang citenyer.. dan sakit hati nk menceritakannyer.. so i malas la.. :) yg penting keje2 derang hampir selesai (belum touch up lg)..

sebagai nasihat kepada semua.. kalo ada duit lebih tuh.. baik invest on ID yg akan menguruskan segala hal rumah.. so tak payah sakit hati ngan sakit kepala memikirkannye... :D

talk about ID.. this is the only item in the house yg direka khas oleh ID.. overall keje kemas dan i sgt2 puas hati... very la spacious <-- full height.. ;) just kalo ada duit nanti i nk tmbh satu whole body cermin kat depan sliding door tuh.. hihi.. wat do you guys think??

Ok ladies and gentlemen... hehe.. ni lah nak cite we all pre-moved to rumah baru kami... hehehe.. punyalah semangat nk masuk umah baru.. kami start keje2 drilling dulu.. :D

So, last week pinjam kawan nyer drill (a.k.a. kak keh & rex).. tq tq jasa uolls dikenang.. ngeee~~ bob sibuk drill satu rumah (tak sempat siap pun.. huhuhu).. tp almost all lah jugaks... so, jom tgk gambo frame2 yg sempat di drill... hahaha... zaaasssss!!!

Anna and Iza Baby Shower

I've always wanted to plan a beautiful baby shower *sigh*.. anything goes with babies are all sugar and spice with everything nice right.. :) So, I did get a chance to plan a baby shower with 2 good friends of mine... hurray!! But, somehow Iza did not turn up since her baby check up did not come up so well. *pray that she will be better really soon*...

I did not do this baby shower by myself.. I had the whole geng to pitch in here and there and lastly are able to create something really memorable and beautiful.. Enjoy the pics!!

Haaaa... this is handmade by myself k... :) really happy with the outcome with cute touches of baby safety pin.. classic ain't it??

Hot preparation going on.. Since, this is a last minite deal.. we got a lot of things instant.. :) Just look at the stacked polistrene of chicken rice.. courtesy of everyone's pocket.. hahaha

I had some presents prepared for the games that we are going to have... smoking hot bags.. for everyday use..

Choosing the Right Wall Color

I must admit.. choosing the perfect wall color is never eva an easy task... I spent days just studying and admiring the paint color which is currently offered by Jotun and Nippon.. What's hot and what's not.. hehehe...

For the master bedroom... spashes of light purple.. It just glow dreamily away.. here are pictures of Farissa sucking up her favorite color on her mama's room!!

See her hair flying around from the breeze.. yup.. I've got my fan installed.. yippee!!

Kids and Mommies Day Out

Ini adalah cara terbaik for the kids to learn and mingle around with others about their age.. plus.. a bonus mama2 dpt bergossip and share cerita2 hangat yg tak dpt nak story2 kt hubby atau kat opis... heh heh...

As'kum semua... dah lama rasenyer tak update blog ni kan? so... its about time la.. hehehe...
Macam2 nak cerita pasal rumah.. tapi let just start with the kitchen cabinet ya... I have always wanted a big kitchen yang ala2 food channel tuh... somehow what i have now pun alhamdullilah.. fits my taste as well... tak besa sgt.. tak kecik sgt.. sederhana gitew...

Let's start with the dry kitchen... gambo kat bawak ni cabinetnyer blum siap 100%.. the solid surface has yet to be installed by the contractor.. biler?? i donno... I just love the white and grey colour swishing with the blue wall tiles... it looks really fresh.. :) kan 3x?

Then, the larger space here will be the refridgerator slot... and the smaller space will be the combination oven slot.. biler tgk betul2.. muat ke tak fridge ni... hua 3x... takutnyer...

And lastly from the side view... you bleh nampk the overall feel of the kitchen.. although tak siap 100% still I think u guys will get the overall feel of it... oooo and yes.. the wall back there is blue in colour... :) *love*

Kalo nk tau... I suke mengulangkaji catalogue nippon dan jotun... even time xm arituh bob dah bising2 dah... bukan ulangkaji nk xm.. sibuk mengamati catalogue nippon.. wakakaka...

Belum lg interior designing rumah lg.. bab tuh.. kene sabo dulu k.. kite buat sket2...

Since nk masuk rumah baru.. ada lah niat nk upgrade feel family room kat atas.. sofa kt rumah skrang akan diletakkan kat family area kat atas.. blasah beli 5 cushion plus covers.. hik hik... theme dia nature with love.. ekeke..

Ni dia depan rumah... haaa tergantung banner contractor.. rumah pun penuh ngan simen kat depan.. huhu.. nyampah.. tak sabo nk bukak banner tuh.. sakit mate memandang..

Overall contractor ok kot... harga competitive... leh tolerate owner yg byk songeh <-- mcm diriku ini.. hasil keje agak kemas la... i kasik 3 star.. kalo nk menjenguk rumahku ini.. buat appointment ya.. ;)

Nairobi, My Breath Taking Experience!

It was a life changing experience being able to visit Nairobi, Kenya. The city, people and culture is so rich! Somehow, I felt that I was blessed given the experience and the chance to go there and meet people and share of what the smallest thing that I know here in Malaysia...

Semua best kecuali the 17 hours flight that I have to take nk sampai ke Afrika. I for one hate flying (kirenye balik Sarawak pun rase 2 jam yang hampeh).. Ni lg la berjam2 atas lautan... huhu.. I missed my busyuk badly too.. tp it was all worth it!! Alhamdullilah.. kembali ke Malaysia dlm 1 kerat lg.. hahaha...

This photo was taken at the Nairobi National Museum.. I do think the display was good tp kalo ada lg byk culture display lg cun la kot... kalo mcm museum negara kite pun best..

The entrance fee is about RM 28 but if you are a resident dlm 4 hinggit jeks.. :D

My main goal there is to teach the staff's of KEMU University of the Content Development procedures of what we have here in Multimedia University.. I love my participants there as they are so enthusiastic about learning (also for the fact that I bribe them with Bali souvenirs).. hahaha.. ;)

On the way back from work.. we stop by an italian restaurant which serves the best fruit tart ever! The fruits are fresh and the taste is exquisite! Takpe I dah cek dah.. no alcohol maa...

A glimpse of the Nairobi city.. Not so kampung rite?

Here is a picture of us (me and my boss.. hihi) at the Safari Walk, Nairobi.. they display the animals here just like in a zoo.. tp sebab the area is so huge! they are able to display it better with the nature feel!

The entrance fee is about usd: 20..

The only thing that I do feel that they have to change is the way the people here line up in lines... they really would cut the lines if they wanted too!

Here is a photo of the team that actually went there for the visit (6 of us including the camera man).. this is the David Sheldrik wildlife reserve for orphans elephants and rhinos.. Breath taking experience.. I think I touched the most elephant here than any other places I visited... really.. I would love to do this again man... huhu..

Who knows?? Lain kali ada lagi chance to go... ye tak??

Kitchen Sink

I had always dreamt to own a classic style kitchen... always.. always.. and always.. and alhamdullilah soon it will be true..

last week, I had spent quite some time in search for a perfect dainty kitchen sink... the criteria:

white
undermount
classic looking
small but deep (sebab dapur comels sgt)

The first shop I went to (Bright House) has a large range of kitchen apppliances.. BUT the price for the sink that I wanter was SO DAMN expensive (mmg tak bleh afford).. would cost me about RM 2300.. rejected ok! I am determine but not so crazy to spend that lot for a sink...

So, the next stop was the Houz Depot in Damansara... Cari punya carik.. but they only have the stainless steel range.. Kalo nk ikutkan hati.. nak jeks beli kat sini sebab tak nk pikir memanjang but hubby comfort me by offering to go in search at IKEA..

So, next pi ikea.. tak sempat masuk pun.. pak guard dah block the entrance.. IKEA is full!!. waaaaahhh (cry meh).. Unfortunately we were not able to even go to IKEA.. terasa sgt frust dan marah.. in the end.. i ckp ngan hubby.. nanti la kite carik..kite makan dulu and I suggested to have our early dinner kat Ayam Penyet AP in Puchong (near GIANT Puchong)...

Kebetulan!! GOD knows kot that I really wanted this.. a few blocks from the restaurant a kitchen and bath accessory shop was having clearance!!! wauweeee... mmg rezeki I, stop by, look around and found it!! The sink of my dreams.. wakakaka (sound crazy kan??).. Apa lg.. I bought it there and then.. it was within my budget and it screams to me!! So guys.. here it is!!

My house is FINALLY complete!! Alhamdullilah.. with a few glitches here and there.. tp tak byk ar... Akan tetapi my developer being shit and all.. kunci masih blum boleh diserahkan sepenuhnye sebab air dah letrik tak masuk pun lg....

So, owners kene telan air liur jeks la.. gulp 3x... Ramai owners dah start renovating their houses and I pun sudah memulakan langkah pertama utk mencarik contractor yg sesuai for renovation purposes.. nanti bab2 reno cite kemudian ya.. hihihi..

My overall concept of house deco is KIMORA.. "fabulousity".. hihi so pocket kene fabulous gaks la kan.. ;) I WISH!!! Big plans for renovation and will talk to u guys later about it... overall I could say mesti u suke i nye design.. hahahaha <- perasan....

Raya Family BBQ / Birthday / Open House

Last week, KHAS (Keluarga Haji Abu Hassan dan Hjh Salmah) telah meng-organize a family BBQ / Birthday kat rumah Mak Long kat Nusa Subang. Almost everyone was there to enjoy the BBQ and have a nice time at the birthday party as well. To cut things short.. enjoy the pics!!

2 minggu lepas, i ngan bob pi ke perfect living exhibition.. mase bulan april dah pi.. tp ni dianjurkan lg sekali so pi gaks.. sebabnyer.. byk barang yg display kat sini mmg offer price.. dr tilam, furniture, decoratives, barangan eletrik, kitchen, langsir.. semua ada kat sini.. so one stop yg best utk membeli atau survey2 barangan umah.. tgh asyik jln2 ternmpk la fridge yg telah agak lame diidam2kan.. LG 2 pintu white with floral... nice x? rege dia pun x pernah i tgk less than rm4k slalunye paling murah pun RM4299.. hihi.. yg ni rm 3.9k after bargain2 giler...

Best tak??? berbaloi la utk i.... hehhehe...

Mama suke sgt playdate! The opportunity utk Farissa bermain dgn kawan2 yg sebaya is very precious.. Antara sebab2nya is because she is staying with her nanny and mostly the kids there is younger than she is..

So, last week mama ajak a few officemates to bring their kids for a day of outing and fun at Petrosains... Most of the pics uploaded is from camera that does not belong to me.. So, courtesy of ms. Fariza & ms. Keh.. hihihi..

Overall.. it was fantastic!! Mula2 ada ragu2 sket that the kids will not enjoy this.. but derang suke giler.. it is all worth it.. for mommies RM 12 and kids below 5 yrs old is free!!

Jerudong Part Brunei!!

Al-kisah yg lebih hebat time ke Jerudong Park (sila bace Siri 1 & Siri 2 Sarawak 2010 di babynadra.blogspot.com)..

Mama sebenarnye malas giler nak cite pasal sblum sampainye kami di Jerudong Park.. Just to cut short, sblum sampai di Jerudong we have to wait at the border between Limbang and Brunei (1.5 hours) sementara Granpa amik passports dr Uncle Mohan in Brunei, then travel from Limbang to Miri (3.5 hours) & send Uncle Mozart kat bus station kat sane.. then we travel from Miri to Jerudong (2.5 hours).. by the time sampai ke Jerudong mood sudah hilang... penat woooo... kalo tak percaye.. cubelah :D

Sampai kat sane around 5.00pm.. wakakaka (gelak giler sat..) Jerudong Part mmg bukak dari 5pm - 9pm.. Oooo macam tuh... Tp pegi theme park waktu mlm tak best ar.. kusam jeks.. dah lah kene main time maghrib.. lagik la tak best..

Ni gambo Farissa time sampai.. Time ni mama tgh bengang kot sebab papa lupe convert duit and terpakse pinjam dr granpa..

Salam semua.. hehe.. utk entry kali ni I want to share the progress of my cute little house.. yippee..

Mengikut document architect the house is 88% complete.. ye ke?? tak sure la.. wateva it is.. I got the opportunity to step in my OWN house for the first time.. and yeah.. walaupun tak siap lg.. it felt great.. :)

So, this is the picture of my house.. Kalo tgk.. mmg belum dicat lg.. semua color putih sebab dicat primer <- is this how u spell it ka? tak sure.. hihi.. Otherwise.. yg lain semua dah siap..

Home Deco Exhibition KLCC 2010

If you don't like crowded place then this is not where you want to end up.. On Sat morning, I had set a day out with my sis and my bro to visit this eva famous home deco.. Main thing is, I wanted to survey a few items before my house is finally complete <-- which I really tak tau bila.. My housing developer is untrustworthy of datelines and such.. (cakap tak serupa bikin).. Anyhow, insyallah the house will be complete by end of this year.. *insyallah..

So, we shoot straight tru mex highway and arive at KLCC at say 10.50am.. The convention centre is full!!! closed!! Yeah you heard me rite.. Maybe this was my first time and should be there by 9.00am ke ape ke..

Everything went ok.. and we finally hit a car park at B2.. Bila sampai dlm I found out that all visitors kene register.. ooooh ok.. register jeks pe.. we then had too take the escalator straight up to the 5th floor and have to make our way down la.. ada 4 halls if I am not mistaken.. Tp seriusly.. there were so many people!! Walking is not made possible and kepala I dah pening2 dah.. So end up.. buying nothing and it was no fun.. lagik pun my siblings dah bising2.. Farissa lg la.. Dah tak bleh jln pun.. huhuhu..

Then, I suggested we all went to Pavillion to have some food and fun!! Enjoy the pics!! Having lunch at Mdm Kwan.. Gambo blurry sebab gune my-phone.. ekeke..

New Home Deco Purchase

Most of my closest friends know that I am just crazy in love going to warehouse sales.. Well last week, Fella design was having just that.. incredible warehouse sales that will turns your pocket around.. haha.. So just to show some incredible find, enjoy the pics that I had taken!!

This is a beautiful magnificent mirror.. Plan to hang this in my new dining area.. It is large and very da victorian style ya..

Look at the price!! Jgn tertipu ya.. Cermin hanya berharge RM 280 jeks.. haha.. bestkan.. beso tapi very affordable..

Ini ceritanya.. Last weekend is one of the most busiest weekend eva!! Mcm2 ada.. kenduri kawen.. birthday.. movies.. furniture shopping... to name a few.. wakaka..

Let's start off the cerita one of my colleagues wedding in Melaka.. kami terpakse ke side wife dia sebab ada hal this weekend.. tp takpela kan.. yang penting tunjuk muke dan bawak perut ;).. dah plan awal2 nak pi ngan member (aka kak keh).. konvoi sesame ke sane.. so enjoy the pics taken ya.. Oh.. btw.. on that day the wether was incredibly hot.. waaaah...

At one time.. I was thinking ape yang nak digantungkan dlm bilik Farissa nanti.. fikirnya fikir last2 carik method yang paling saving sekalik.. :) which was to buy the cheapest frame in ikea and fill in some nice present wrapper.. these are the ingredient..

Some nice wrappers (theme Farissa fun and cute),

scissors,

glue,

frame of choice..

Thats all.. senang jeks..

Cut off some of the pictures yang nak dilekatkan on the frames..

These are just some that I chose..

Cut them individually..

Insert the choosen side of the wrapper and the other cute elements just glue them on the frame itself!! Cute huh..

This is one of my FAVORITE restoren ever.. serving chinese / seafood cuisine.. fast service.. pricing is affordable plus best of all its all yummy!!! Selama ni tak pernah nak mengupload gambar rumah yg i beli.. so this is it.. my little house.. tak semestinya kecil tak selesa betul tak?? :D ngee.. So, last Sunday pegi ajak bob menyeludup tapak site.. kiterang pi awal pg.. so tak ramai pekerja lg.. ada la beberapa org yg baru pas mandi berkemban ngan baldi memasing..

Bob ni jenis yg lurus dan tak suke buat keje2 yg semi illegal apatah lg illegal.. bab2 menyeludup ni I la yg kene pakse.. dah kene pakse baru berani sket nak masuk site.. hihi.. teringin nak tgk.. bayaran pun dah lebih 50% kene bayar.. takkan tak bleh tgk rumah betul x??

Rumah kami yg sebenarnye kene kunci so terpakse masuk kat umah org len.. tumpang masuk ya..

Blok A yg mengadap new project site Paragon 129.. waahhh.. tembok 5 kaki dah naik.. developer x kasik tenant berkenalan ngan umah seblah.. tu yang tembok tinggi sepatutnye 4 kaki jeks..

Lantai 2 x 2 tiles.. cantik tak living yg comel loteh ni.. nasib baik la anak baru sorang jeks.. huhu kalo ramai kene la duduk2 ramah mesra gituh..

Ni dapur tunjuk2 jeks ya.. bukan utk memasak rewang.. huhu.. mcmn la kalo anak dara I nak kawen nanti.. huhu.. Satu periuk nasi beso pun dah penuh.. baru ingat nak rebus telur pinang.. ekeke..

Bob kate "jgn ngengade nak kutil plastik tuh".. yelah sebab ni pun nak bawak tu my new house.. haha.. so buat sementar jadik display item jeks la.. tak bleh la test ponggong..

Laluan ke dapur terhalang baik.. Dah takleh masuk perabot langsung dah.. ekeke...

Lain kali amik ukuran sofa.. jgn main beli jeks...

Haha! kerana dah ternampak keratan dari The Star pasal Fella Design nak wat sale.. so terpakselah memakse husbandku a.k.a org yang jarang berada di rumah utk membawa diriku ini yang kuat shopping pegi shopping..

The best part of the sale was most items are 50% less and all others are 40% less except for value buy.. Cuma yang kurang bestnye penghantaran will cost you RM 90 if you tinggal kat SK seperti diriku ini.. Punyalah semangat nak pi sebab tak nak ramai org.. we all bertolak dr rumah agaks awal.. bfast kat kedai mamak dan terus memecut ke Damansara.. so ada byk masa nak melepakkan diri kat depan bangunan Fella ni..

New Year Holiday!! 2010!!

hehe.. today i am going to list out some things that makes me absolutely happy this weekend:hurray!!

1. I had received my brand new 'Pinky DELL laptop'.. courtesy of ayah and my hubby.. with a catch of course.. I sambung belajar.. with a help of a friend everything I need is installed.. thank you all... Bawak pi Mc D and a felt a twig of heppiness truout my surfing time there.. note to self "Kene pegi lagik.. hihi".. yep no WIFI at home huhu..

2. I've gone curtain shopping for my new little crib.. absolutely happy with my purchase..*wink* will update pictures soon.. hehe.. 1 for my living (2 layer) *love love love... (to my despair bob fell asleep at MACY couch while I make my choice.. huhu) All the good ones SOLD OUT!! damn... decided my budget shrink tremendously.. so after a quick lunch we went to KAMDAR and bought curtains for my dotter new bedroom and my own bedroom...which is much cheaper..cheaper.. cheaper.. hihi..

3. I've achieve 2 new baby diaper cakes all ready to be purchased.. you may want to visit here to see them.. :)

Last weekend.. I ajak bobby keluar jejalan hik hik.. fikir punya fikir.. lastly end up in Sunway Pyramid.. I ask bobby to skip our breakfast in hopes in getting breakfast + lunch there..
Kononnye nak makan bento tp tak bukak lg restoren tuh.. so makan kat 'Popeye'..
Something new.. but not bad.. Jom tgk some of the pics taken.. Enjoy!!

As usual when hubby is away for a very long time (1 week and above), I would paster him for gifts(naturally) ekeke.. Who wouldn't??... At least I know my efforts goes to no avail.. betul tak??

This time round, I ask a good budget of a few hundreds for Farissa outfits and a few hundred for mine.. hehehe.. <-- i liiiike... Nak fulfill janji he of course bawak I pi shopping.. Thanks babe... a whole lot.. Muahs.. Nanti i tak marah u nak outstation lama2 tau... "I promise" * ye lah tuh.. seminggu tade dah start meroyan..

Yeah.. Last week dpt call dr Auntie A yg duduk kat Shah Alam.. "Farah nak tak pi buat spa.. tp kat shah alam la.. 3.5 jam??" tanpe pikir panjang of course jawapan nye nak!!! please!! hahaha.. Sape nak kasik treat yg best for free ye tak?? kih kih kih.. I love u auntie.. time ni la nak love u kan..

Lagi pun selama 3 weeks i duduk babysit anak i kan.. turn laki i la kan.. kih kih.. nanti u all bacalah sesi Farissa ngan papa day out.. :) Pagi tuh i bgn superb awal utk buat house chores yg tak pernah abis plus make sure la farissa ada snacks kalo dia lapo biler bangun.. Appointment dah set kul 9am.. janji nak jumpe my cuz buat manicure dan pedicure kat spa yang same.. I pun tak pernah pegi so tak tau la kat mane..

This is the jacuzzi.. love it!! best nye kalo pasang kat umah..

Bila u telah pakaikan mask sluruh badan.. u kene la shower dulu.. sblum masuk jacuzzi..

The bed is surrounded by a small stream.. best giler the sound effects.. u will feel very relax..

Perhiasan di sblah katil.. it reminds me of the reason for all ladies to take care of their well being.. :)

Did you know that Somerset Bay is having sale?? That's rite.. :D

I think all of their shops are having sale from 10% on all normal price items until 70% from their last collection!!!
I went to Sunway Pyramid and bought myself 2 beautiful embroided blouses that cost rm 89.90 each!! Summer blue and maroon.. *wink* *wink* Makes me feel good even when I'm telling about it.. huh.. The shopping sale dateline is on the 1st November 2009..

Plus, on Sunday I had to stop by their shop in Alamanda and bought a grey long cardigan for 10% off.. and 2 beautiful necklace for 80% off!! Yups.. all of the accessories are 80% off.. Isn't that a good deal..

So, all my lovely ladies friends.. Do drop by Somerset Bay and buy something sinful for yourself... haha..
